Race Information

Birdy's Backyard Ultra is a "Last Person Standing" event at Lake Towerrinning in Western Australia. Competitors run a 6.71km lap (4.167 miles) each hour, every hour and must finish their lap within the hour or they are out. The race continues until only one runner can complete the lap within the 1-hour time limit; everyone else is guaranteed a DNF.

The race is named after the mythical legend Big Birdy, an 8’4” Mythical Man once found in the Wilderness of the Great South Western Bushlands of Australia.
