Enjoy Lunar New Year Celebrations in the heart of historic Chinatown with an opening ceremony with lion dancers and traditional lighting of 100k firecrackers and a 2-day FREE Expo including exhibitors, beer garden, activities, live entertainment at the LA Chinatown Firecracker 5K/10K Runs/Walk, 1K Kiddie Run, 2K PAW’er Dog Walk & 20/50-Mile Bike Rides.

The 5K run/walk is an out and back course that takes participants past Dodger Stadium. The 10K course is a challenging run through the hills of Elysian Park. From N Broadway, the course climbs into the park to higher elevations. The course winds high over the tunnels above the 110 freeway, providing spectacular views of the city. The timed runs are approved and USATF-sanctioned. Participants receive a commemorative race bib, collectible finisher’s medal, t-shirt, goodie bag, and more.
