Georgia Aquarium’s 5K walk/run starts & finishes at some of the most recognizable landmarks in downtown Atlanta, this Atlanta Journal-Constitution Peachtree Road Race Qualifier (in-person only) 3.1-mile course is a quick "out and back" run/jog/walk for all ages. Whether your motivation is running your first 5K, getting back in shape, preparing for the Peachtree Road Race or a longer distance race, by participating you'll make an impact on aquatic animal conservation.

All proceeds for the 5K go toward the Aquarium's research and conservation initiatives here at home and across the globe. This furthers the understanding of the ocean's animals to aid in their survival for generations to come.
