Race Information
Join the annual Charles River Marathon and run this flat, fast BQ-eligible course that attracts runners from across the United States and overseas to Boston's beautiful Herter Park.
The race is comprised of ten laps on a flat, fast 2.6 mile loop on paved paths around Boston's scenic Charles River, starting and finishing at the DCR’s Herter Park in Boston, MA. The course is USATF-certified, and eligible as a qualifier for the Boston Marathon
The Race Cancer Foundation events have a quick check-in process, professional chip timing, safe and well marked courses, ample water stations, mile markers with clocks, accurate results, good prizes, great beer and free race photos. If that's not enough, remember that 100% of the proceeds from our races go to charity. RACE Cancer Foundation offers free race entry to cancer survivors and family members of those who have lost their battle. Check out our past races to see previous honorary warrior runners.
