Race Information

The Gaylord Gauntlet 5k Trail and Obstacle Run is an annual race held on the Wallingford, CT, 400-acre campus of Gaylord Specialty Healthcare, a 137-bed long-term acute care hospital with services for people who experience a life-changing injury or illness. The course offers a blend of wooded trails and open field running with 24 natural and manmade obstacles

More than 1,000 adaptive and able-bodied runners are expected to participate, with proceeds from the annual event helping support the Gaylord Sports Association, Connecticut’s largest adaptive sports program, which offers 15 adaptive sports and recreation programs at little or no charge to individuals with physical and visual impairments, including wounded veterans.
