2026 Fair Oaks Chicken Run

Race Information

Fair Oaks Chicken Run features a 5-mile Chicken Run, the non-competitive 2-mile Rooster Ramble run/walk, and the Chicken Chase Kids’ Races for children 12 & under.

This hard-boiled 5k race takes off through the beautiful residential neighborhood of Old Fair Oaks, before scrambling along the trail in Sailor Bar. Try not to get fried as you take on the infamous hills. Part trail, part paved road - watch your step, and keep your sunny side up!

The 2-Mile Rooster Ramble stays on the paved roads through Old Fair Oaks. You’ll love to walk this egg-cellent course; it’s stroller- and family-friendly.
