Karen P. Nakon Breast Cancer Foundation Turkey Dash
Race Information
The Turkey Dash is the Nakon Foundation’s annual family-friendly 5k run/walk held on Thanksgiving morning every year at Avon High School. The annual Turkey Dash is a great family-friendly tradition to give thanks for your own health and support the health of others, and you will be home in plenty of time to baste the turkey.
Each year, over 1500 runners, walkers and spectators join together to move in support of financial aid for breast cancer survivors in Northeast and Northwest Ohio. Each registered participant receives a Turkey Dash race shirt, and pumpkin pie, coffee, hot chocolate, water, and fruit are available at the finish line for everyone. Awards are given to the top winners along with medals for the top finishers in each age bracket.
