Race Information
The Toronto Island Run is a late-summer tradition put on by the Longboat Roadrunners, one of the most historic running clubs in the city. This laidback 5k and 10k event (the oldest in Toronto) is located on Centre Island, just a short ferry ride from downtown. This event is fairly small and caps out around 1000 participants total. It’s notorious for bringing racers back year after year—keep an eye out for fellow runners proudly wearing t-shirts from past Island Runs.
