Ted's Run for Literacy
Ted's Run for Literacy is an annual 2k, 5k and 10k running event organized in memory of Ted Swain, a former teacher of English at Vincent Massey Collegiate in Winnipeg. Ted was also a dedicated running coach. The run supports CanU, an after school program that inspires hope and confidence in Winnipeg children living at or below the poverty level. CanU's main "big ideas" are around Nutrition, Sport, and Literacy.
