Race Information

The Birmingham Black Country Half Marathon is a point-to-point race between Wolverhampton City Centre and Brindley Place in Birmingham.

The course runs along the canal and varies from gravel tracks and un-kept trails to smooth pavement. The scenic route is mostly flat and features the famous 'Coseley Tunnel' - a 360-metre tunnel.

The race accommodates all capabilities - from serious runners to beginners. Expect floating drink stations (canal barges) every 3 miles offering runners water and electrolyte, a bespoke finishers medal and a well-stocked goody bag.

The finish line is in the heart of Brindley Place, Birmingham which boasts plenty of pubs and bars where you can refuel after the event and spend some time cheering in finishers.
