Race Information
The Alameda Island Running Festival starts and finishes right outside City Hall West, with the Health and Wellness expo on the grass overlooking the port of Oakland. A portion of registrations will be donated to Alameda Education Foundation. The Island Running Festival is a chip-timed event. Participants can run, jog, or walk the entire course. Jogging strollers are permitted but are asked to start in the back of the pack. Wheelchair athletes are permitted but due to safety concerns and street closure restrictions cannot travel faster than the fastest runner.
