Golden Gate Headlands Marathon
One of the great races on the West Coast, the Golden Gate Headlands Marathon is one race that every runner wants to tackle. The race is limited to 400 total participants and sells out every year. The course is a combination of single track hiking trails and fire roads. As runners reach the summits of this course, they will be treated to a view of San Francisco Bay tucked behind the rolling green hills of the Marin Headlands to the east. Looking west, runners will view the Pacific Ocean.
