An Ekiden relay is a long distance running team event. There is a ceremonial tasuki sash that runners pass on, to symbolize the teamwork (and sweat!) Each team is made up of 6 people. On each team two people will run 10k, three people will run 5k and one person will run 7.2k. A sash and a decorating station will be provided to personalize it!
