Since 2002, the Valley Crest Trail Races have captivated runners with their Half Marathon and 10k races along the historic “Dirt” Mulholland trail, originally built in the 1920s to showcase San Fernando Valley real estate. This scenic ridgeline offers breathtaking views northward of stunning vistas and southward of canyons and the ocean, including a 360-degree panorama from the Nike Missile Site overlook. Scheduled for late June, the races benefit from L.A.'s perfect summer weather, with warm sunshine, clear skies, and a gentle breeze, providing a beautiful and challenging setting for both seasoned athletes and trail-running newcomers.

Enjoy miles of fast and flat stretches, bay views, and ocean breezes on November 2, 2024.
With a Half Marathon and 5K, both courses feature a scenic loop route around San Diego's water wonderland, Mission Bay.
All runners will score a tech participant fee and a finisher medal unique to each distance.
