2026 Harpers Ferry Half Marathon & 5K

Race Information

The Harper's Ferry Half & 5k showcases the region's landscape and highlights its rich history. The races take you to scenic overlooks, through a historic downtown where civil war ruins stand as a reminder of America's history, up (a few hills) passing historical homes to a view overlooking the beautiful town nestled between two rivers.

The Half Marathon is a challenging and hilly course covering the expanse of Harpers Ferry National Historical Park and the Civil War-era towns connecting them. The 5K route is an enjoyable mix of road and trail, crossing from the River Riders Adventure Center into Harpers Ferry National Historical Park and the beautiful Murphy Farm loop.
