This popular 5k and half marathon event is unique from start to finish!
It includes cannons used as starter's pistol, "dog-tag" medals for participants, military bands, military equipment display, pasta dinner served military style, military inspired kid's zone, technical t-shirts sporting the Canadian Army camouflage pattern and lots more!
But above all, this event is about Canadians and Canadian Forces (Air, Army and Navy) joining together as a community. It’s a chance for the troops to thank Canadians for their support. It is also an opportunity for Canadians to say thanks to the men and women who serve them at home and abroad.
