Enjoy this 5k run through the streets of Groveland to cap off the Groveland Day festivities.

This race is generously being sponsored by Norwood Insurance in honor of Peter Bevelaqua. Peter was the quintessential Groveland boy who grew up a block from Elm Square on the Merrimack River where he’d cruise on his boat in this all-American town celebrated during Groveland Day. Peter was a lifetime member of the Groveland community where he played little league and was a member of the local Cub/Boy Scouts, attended Bagnall and Pentucket schools as a boy and later was the head of Norwood Insurance Agency, President of the Groveland Business Association which he was also a founder, he was always willing to support all Groveland causes both personally and financially. Peter was taken way too young at age 48 on September 9th 2017, which also happens to be the official observance of Groveland Day.
