2026 Schenectady County Run the Runway

Race Information

Strap in and prepare for take-off on an adrenaline-pumping 5k at the Schenectady County Airport, the home of the New York Air National Guard's 109th Airlift Wing and the "ski-birds," the world's only ski-equipped LC-130 Hercules Airplane. Hit the tarmac and reach unbelievable speeds on this flat and fast 3.1-mile course. It'll feel like you are ready to take off and fly! Runners, joggers, and walkers are welcome to book their flight (register for the race). Young aviators in range of the airport are encouraged to taxi to the runway for a FREE 1-mile fun run.
