Join the University of Houston's Tilman J. Fertitta Family College of Medicine for its annual Coog Docs 5k, A Color Run + Walk for Children's Mental Health! Their focus is to educate a diverse group of physicians with a deep understanding of the social determinants of health and a commitment to providing high-quality, affordable health care to patients in our communities. By teaching students to address key factors that affect their patient’s health, such as food insecurity, the environment, and housing, they can close the gap and help eliminate health disparities in their urban and rural communities that face significant doctor shortages.
