Find your inner Viking at the Viking Dash Trail Run in Chicago! All participants receive a tshirt and their choise of a viking weapon themed medal.
The course follows a 5k loop that can be run once, or multiple times depending on how far you feel like running.
Overall and age group awards are given out for all distances. Come in your best Viking attire and enter our costume contest for a chance to win a free race entry!

Want a unique animal themed medal? Run for the Zoo can make that happen on June 2, 2024.
For 46 years, runners of all levels and abilities have supported Lincoln Park Zoo with Run for the Zoo. This run makes it easy for anyone from casual runners to elite athletes help support their favorite species at the zoo and save them in the wild.
The 10K Run and 5K Run/Walk courses are U.S.A. Track & Field-certified and chip-timed for experienced athletes. All finishers receive a unique animal-themed medal along with a race shirt.
Run for the Zoo is also designed to accommodate every member of the family, so you can make a day of it. The Kids’ Course is perfect for kids ages 2–7, who can run, climb, and crawl over playful obstacles on the South Lawn.
