Race Information
The Cape May County Coast Guard Community Foundation hosts the annual Always Ready 5K and Always Ready K9. The landmark 5K event flows through the scenic city of Cape May and will offer the unique opportunity to run through the U.S. Coast Guard Training Center. Cape May is the birthplace of the U.S. Coast Guard. The 5K is chip timed with instant results, and awards are given to the top finishers. Race shirts are guaranteed to those registering before the cutoff date. All finishers receive a commemorative Always Ready Challenge Coin. The race also offers a 3K run/walk option open to four-legged friends accompanied by 2 legged guides.
