The Schlitz Park 5K Run by the River is the only downtown 5K and 2-mile walk that takes runners along the Milwaukee Riverwalk, through Brewer's Hill and around the historic Schlitz Brewery turned office campus. The 5K race was started by the late Gary Grunau, the previous owner of the Schlitz Park campus whose impact on both development and philanthropy changed the downtown scene as we know it.
Run Pick of the Month - Bellin Women's Half Marathon & 5K
This women-focused 5k and half marathon happens in October.
Expect a scenic, urban course. We like the half marathon relay option that lets you run 13.1 as a team of two!
This run typically draws over 1,500 participants. The course is very spectator friendly (so bring your cheer squad).
