Race Information

Since 2013, The Great Huey P. Long Bridge Run has celebrated the majestic views provided by a historic bridge. The Huey P. Long Bridge was established in 1935 and revised in 2013 with a well-received widening project. Each year, the bridge is closed to vehicle traffic on a Saturday morning allowing runners to enjoy a professional and safe race experience while they #GeauxOverIt. It's a challenge worth celebrating as runners enjoy live music, great Louisiana food and cold beer after crossing the finish line.
