2017 Marin Ultra Challenge Race Report
"Joy is the stillness of a moonlit morning at Rodeo Beach, listening to the waves crash, my warm coffee mug snuggled close."
MARIN ULTRA CHALLENGE 50 MILE – MUC – (RACE REPORT)
"Climbing Cardiac brought back so many memories of when I ran the Mt. Tam 50k with Stonegate and Burning Girl. We had a lot of laughs during that race and while at the time, Cardiac was a tough moment, I was laughing my head off during this race thinking about it."

Race Information

The Marin Ultra Challenge, a premier Marin County long distance trail race, delivers ample hills and sweeping descents. Participants choose from 25k, 50k and 50-mile races distances. All three distances are physically demanding (the 50 Mile has just about 11,000 feet of elevation gain) and exceptionally beautiful. The journey begins underneath the Golden Gate Bridge, then traverses the Marin Headlands, Stinson-facing Mt. Tamalpais and Muir Woods, exhibiting a range of terrain, from exposed fire-roads with incredible coastal and inland views to tight, technical single-track with redwood canopies.
