Fred Kurz 10 Mile
The Fred Kurz 10 Mile is the oldest continuously held running event in Minnesota, first held in 1962 and 1963 as the 10 Mile Handicap Road Race, and renamed in 1964 to honor Fred Kurz. Fred was a charter member of the Minnesota Distance Running Association. The course is an out and back on the Luce Line Trail.
