Blue Nose Marathon
Race Information
Known as "the people’s marathon," the Blue Nose Marathon welcomes people of all ages, abilities, and fitness levels. With the help of over a thousand volunteers, there are six running events (5K, 10K, half marathon, full marathon, marathon team relay, and the youth running events - 4K and 2K) taking place during Victoria Day weekend every year.
The course is known to have its fair share of hills, but organizers are sure that it's nothing you can't conquer. Plus, the whole city of Halifax will be cheering you on! All of the races begin downtown. You'll pass by all of Halifax's points of attraction, including Citadel Hill, Point Pleasant Park, and the beautiful downtown core.
This event also features an Active Living Expo with more than 80 booths. Over the years, the Charity Challenge has grown to over 80 charities that collectively have raised more than $500,000.
