Race Information

The Medavie Blue Nose Marathon, proudly known as “the people’s marathon,” is the signature event of Blue Nose and one of Nova Scotia’s most celebrated running weekends. Held annually on Victoria Day weekend, the event brings together participants, and spectators from across the region to celebrate movement, community, and inclusivity.

Race weekend features a variety of events designed to inspire everyone to take part, including the 5KM, 10KM, half marathon, full marathon, marathon team relay, and youth races (2KM and 4KM).

With scenic courses, enthusiastic crowd support, and a strong focus on participant experience, the Medavie Blue Nose Marathon continues to be a cornerstone of Halifax’s running community and a highlight of the city’s spring calendar.
