The National Alliance on Mental Illness Sauk Area's 5k Walk and Run raises funds to assist the group in raising awareness of the support families need when dealing with a loved one or friend who is living with a mental illness. All funds from this event go directly to services NAMI Sauk Area provides, including providing NAMI Signature Programs for FREE, training for instructors in NAMI-based programs, family support group meetings, outreach information and instructional brochures, Mental Health Awareness Month activities, Suicide Prevention Awareness Month activities and more.
