Set in Madison, Georgia, this community‑oriented event offers a 5K run/walk, a 10K, and a shorter Fun Run—welcoming participants of all ages (and even strollers). The course begins and ends near the First United Methodist Church parking area on Academy Street, with the 5K laid out as a USATF‑certified out‑and‑back and the 10K extending past the 5K turnaround. Proceeds support Morgan County Basketball, and participants may compete for traditional awards as well as a “best turkey costume”—making it a festive blend of fitness, local spirit, and charitable giving.
