Race Information

At Camp Occohannock’s Annual Duck Dash 5K and Fun Run, runners will journey through the camp's beautiful property of woods and open spaces. The race is part of Camp Occohannock’s Polar Duck Dip, and as a non-profit, the event helps them raise money to improve facilities and to provide scholarships for summer camp.

The culmination of the dash will take place in front of the iconic view of the Occohannock Creek and the Chesapeake Bay. The 5K will have medals for age categories, as well as overall male and female competitors. The fun run is a 1-mile dash for kids 12 and under. Awards for both the 5K and kids dash will take place after the race, followed by a meal, program, silent auction, and the camp's Polar Duck Dip. Participation in the run includes a T-shirt. Winners will be announced at the event and recognized through the camp's social media platforms!
