Race Information

The 10@10 on Grand Traverse starts 10,000 feet above sea level, on the beautiful Vail Mountain. Racers will be challenged as they traverse over Vail Mountain and across the legendary back bowls of Vail. The average grade of the 10K is 7 percent with an elevation gain of nearly 1,200 feet, while the shorter 5K is a tad less challenging and allows runners the chance to experience racing at an impressive altitude. Both courses provide incredible views of the Vail Valley, the Gore Range and the beauty of wildflowers in full bloom.
