Race Information

KC Pet Project 5K is a charitable 5K road run and walk through historic Swope Park in Kansas City, Missouri, benefiting the KC Pet Project’s lifesaving work for thousands of homeless, abandoned, and injured pets each year. Participants receive a commemorative race bib and medal, with opportunities to fundraise in support of the shelter’s mission and enjoy an after-race festival at the organization’s campus, featuring photo opportunities and interactions with adoptable animals. The event welcomes runners and walkers of all abilities and creates a community-focused experience centered on animal welfare and fun.
