Race for the Course 5k/10k: Leprechauns on the Links

Yardley, Pennsylvania, United States

Mar, 2027 (TBD)

5k, 10k

Race Information

Join the annual running of the Lower Makefield Township "Race the Course 5K & 10K" just in time for St. Patty's Day. This event is open to all individuals and supports Lower Makefield Parks and Recreation in their continued goal to improve disability access to township parks for all individuals. Unique about this event: it is run on the cart paths of the Makefield Highlands Golf Club in Yardley, PA. This is very special as most golf courses never allow runners or walkers on the course. If you have never played golf there, Makefield Highlands is a beautiful property residing on the former Pleasant Valley Estate Farm with history traced to the early eighteenth century. The 5K and 1 Mile Fun Run/Walk will be contained mostly on the flatter front 9 holes of the golf course, while the 10K will start on the front 9 but finish on the back nine holes of the golf course, which has a few more challenging hills.
