5k Run/Walk continuing to honor the memory of Susan “Sue B” Newby, the annual SueB 5K kicks off at Julia Davis Park in Downtown Boise, ID. Each participant will receive a free t-shirt (must register before the cutoff date). In addition to the race, there will be a community resource fair open to the public. This is an opportunity to discover and learn about the fantastic resources that the community offers.

Raising awareness and encouraging important discussions about domestic abuse has always been a passion of Sue’s family and friends. Race fees support their Endowment Fund to ensure the WCA can maintain its services and serve its clients for many years to come. The object of this Endowment is to provide funds in perpetuity for the operation of all of the WCA’s programs to provide safety, healing, and freedom from domestic abuse and sexual assault.
