Race Information

The Eugene Marathon is one of America's Premier Marathons. Named a “perfect race” by Runner’s World magazine, you’ll enjoy a scenic, USATF-certified course known for its flat and FAST route as it passes through beautiful parks and tree-lined paths that crisscross the picturesque Willamette River.

No matter what race you choose, you’ll break the finish line tape in front of cheering fans at Historic Hayward Field – one of the world’s most revered track and field venues and home to iconic athletes and coaches such as Steve Prefontaine, Bill Bowerman and Ashton Eaton.

The Eugene Marathon features a full weekend of fun and family-friendly festivities, including the Run Tracktown 5K and the Kids' Duck Dash held Saturday morning.

There’s something for every runner of every ability.  Kids ages 4-12 have a chance to finish at historical Hayward Field like countless other Olympians and world record holders at the Kids Duck Dash – a quick 1K (approx) around the heart of UO campus.  For a bigger challenge kids can participate in a marathon – one mile at a time. They can choose to run or walk 25.5 miles over a period of time before the race, logging their progress. Then, on race day, kids complete the final distance to make it a full marathon.
