To kick off the Carnival Season, ThurtenE is hosting a community 5K run/walk through the WashU Danforth Campus, starting and finishing on the track at Francis Olympic Field. Anyone is welcome at this run/walk, no matter their fitness level, and they hope students, faculty, and community members can gather for this fun race. The race will be held at Francis Olympic Field. The race will be officially chip-timed with results posted online. The top male and female finishers in the student/faculty and community member categories will each receive a free sheet of carnival ride tickets. The event will take place rain or shine and will only be cancelled in the event of a thunderstorm or other extreme weather. No refunds will be issued in the case of cancellation. Please note: No animals (other than service animals) are allowed at the event.
