The Canal Day 5K kicks off a day full of events at the Buzzards Bay Recreation Park, hosted by the Cape Cod Canal Region Chamber of Commerce. The race kicks off while the park is busy with vendors, food trucks, children's activities, and more doing setup, and travels along the Canal Service Road, where you will see runners, walkers, and fishermen, but no cars. Then stick around to celebrate Canal Day, listen to music, grab a bite to eat, and check out the vendor fair. Complete information on the full day of events can be found at: https://www.capecodcanalchamber.org/all-events/cape-cod-canal-day/. Race registration can be found at: https://www.southshorerace.com/canal-day-5k. Register early, as the race often sells out.
