Race Information
This timed run is a fundraiser for the annual Tree Planting Festival, the longest-running festival of its kind in the world. The course will be mostly flat and fast on the streets through the uptown area, which has gorgeous views of the forested hills surrounding Oakridge. The race will essentially start the year's parade, and prizes will be awarded to the best costume and more. There will be a pretty fun block party the previous night in conjunction with the first Friday art walk. They will have a few dj's, a May pole, a square dance, and of course plenty of tree-themed art - all free to the public. Plenty of things going on!
