Every year, Evergreen wakes up early—not just for fireworks or parades—but for a beloved local tradition: the Freedom Run 5K. Whether you’re running the race or cheering from the sidelines, join in on the fun! The Freedom Run starts at Evergreen Middle School with a 5K run for all ages and paces that follows a scenic and hilly course through residential neighborhoods. The event ends with a festive Finish Line After Party at the Evergreen Athletic Club, where participants and their families and friends can enjoy music, refreshments, and family-friendly activities. All proceeds benefit Mount Evans Home Health Care & Hospice. For more than 40 years, Mount Evans has been an essential resource to the foothills and mountain communities, providing experienced and compassionate home health and hospice care.
