The Annual Head for the Cure 5K - Kansas City is the largest charitable 5K in Kansas City, and it will be taking place at Corporate Woods in Overland Park. They expect 6,000 participants and to raise over $700,000 for the Kansas City brain tumor community. Funds from the event benefit brain tumor research in Kansas City through partners such as The University of Kansas Cancer Center, Children's Mercy, Children's Brain Tumor Project, Solace House, and other national brain tumor efforts. This event is so much more than a 5K; it is a celebration! They also host a thrilling kids zone, breakfast, live music, and more!
