Race Information
New to Trail Running? You Belong Here.
You don’t need trail running experience to participate in Run the Mountain. Come for one race or commit to the full journey. Start easy. Build strong. Run the Mountain.
The series is designed with progression in mind, starting with runnable, approachable courses and gradually increasing in challenge. Walking hills is encouraged, effort matters more than pace, and every finish is an accomplishment. If you’ve ever been curious about trail running, this is the perfect place to start.
For runners who love a season-long challenge, choose the Trail Cup Division. Runners who want the joy of the trail without the pressure can join the Open Trail Division.
Runners who want to experience the trails alongside their dogs can choose the Run the Mountain Canicross Cup (Mini Series). Canicross is trail running as a team – runner and dog connected by a hands-free belt and bungee leash, working together to move across the mountain. Canicross races will take place on designated weeks only and feature separate starts, scoring, and awards.
