The Clo-Cow Half Marathon, 10k and 5k in historic Downtown Petaluma has become a fixture on the North Bay running scene each September. Runners tour rural Sonoma County farmland with rolling hills and plenty of sheep, horses and cows to cheer you on as you climb. The course is a bit challenging, but you'll be rewarded with some great views. Yes, half marathoners will run from the valley to a ridge line and back.
