Race Information

The Transplant Games 5K Run/Walk is a public race aimed at raising awareness for organ, eye, and tissue donation and transplantation. You do not need to be a member of the transplant community to participate. The local Denver community is encouraged to come out and run or walk alongside transplant recipients, family members of those who have given the gift of life, living donors, caregivers, and supporters of the miracle of donation and transplantation. Led by HAL Sports and Race Director Lonnie Somers, this 5K is a perfect opportunity to learn more about organ donation and transplantation and help raise awareness by enjoying a run or walk through the city.
