Race Information

Join Stop 3 of the Solidarity Sidekick Run for ALS and continue your journey down historic Route 66 in Joliet. You’ll meet at the Old Joliet Prison, head down Route 66, and return for a 6.6K in celebration of the Route 66 Centennial. After the run, enjoy a relaxed cool‑down and refreshments with fellow participants and supporters. Every participant receives a swag bag, a finisher medal, and access to the post‑race celebration. This series supports Enric Casacuberta as he runs the entire Illinois stretch of Route 66 to raise awareness for ALS. Complete the first nine events and earn a special commemorative medal. Complete all 18 stops, and you’ll receive three medals and three specialized shirts created exclusively for the full‑series finishers. Come run, walk, cheer, and help raise money for ALS, and move with purpose down the Mother Road.
