The event benefits Pleasanton schools and Pleasanton Partnerships in Education (PPIE). The event draws people throughout the community to help raise funds for school staffing, technology, and student support. The Run features 3 fast, flat courses - 5k, 10k, and 15k - that start and end at the Alameda County Fairgrounds. The 10k and 15k events will take advantage of the beautiful Oak Woodland trails within Bernal Community Park. The race also features a kids' 1/4 mile race.
