Double Peak Challenge is a celebration of outdoor recreation like no other. Where trail runners will experience unparalleled beauty from atop North County's highest point. Off-road racers will set out from San Elijo Hills Neighborhood Park and begin their 1,176 foot gain up to Double Peak's summit at 1,558 feet above sea level, winding along beautiful hillside trails with amazing views.
Not up for the full 10K? No worries! Double Peak Challenge also offers an awesome 5K course as well as a 200 Meter "Trail" Trot for kids.
Run Pick of the Month - Kaiser Permanente Thrive Half Marathon & 5K
Enjoy miles of fast and flat stretches, bay views, and ocean breezes on November 2, 2024.
With a Half Marathon and 5K, both courses feature a scenic loop route around San Diego's water wonderland, Mission Bay.
All runners will score a tech participant fee and a finisher medal unique to each distance.
