Race Information

Ragnar Trail Richmond is a wild, fun, and rewarding overnight trail running experience that takes place just outside of Richmond at Pocahontas State Park.

Your team of 8 runners will go over the river and through the woods to set up camp at Ragnar Village and prepare to conquer a series of three pristine trail loops, relay-style.

As each runner sets off, you can expect to catch glimpses of the shimmering lake views of both Beaver Lake and Swift Creek Lake through the deep foliage. As the sun sets, the race doesn’t stop. Runners keep going beneath a canopy of a billion stars overhead and watch the moon rise.

Ragnar Trail is like a summer camp for grownups. Any level of runner can conquer the trails as you find yourself on this journey of adventure, self-discovery, and sheer nature-loving goodness.
