Cleveland Turkey Trot
The Cleveland Turkey Trot is a Cleveland running tradition since 1982. Join one of Cleveland's largest running events for a 1 mile fun run, 5 km or 5 mile run through some of the cities most iconic neighbourhood's starting at the Public Hall in downtown Cleveland!
The Cleveland Turkey Trot Charity Program continues to help local charitable organizations showcase their business, increase awareness and raise funds. Ten local charities of various sizes and interests are selected to be in the program. The participating charities assist us in making this race the best for nearly 10,000 annual runners by helping at registration, packet pick up, at the finish line and on the race course. Because of the success experienced every year, the Cleveland Turkey Trot Charity Program will continue to support charities for years to come.
Beginner Runner Training Plan
Are you looking to become a runner for the first time? Coming back to running after a hiatus? Our friends at None to Run have created a gradual training plan for beginner runners!
The None to Run Beginner Plan is super gradual and achievable, no matter your starting point. In 12 weeks, you’ll be able to run 25 minutes non-stop (and actually enjoy it).
None to Run is different from most beginner plans:
- Focuses on running time. NOT distance or pace.
- Includes simple strength and mobility workouts. No equipment required.
- Progresses slowly to decrease the chances of getting injured.
If you can't currently run for more than 5-minutes straight without stopping to catch your breath, you're in the right place.
