The 5 Peaks event at Cypress Mountain is the third event in the British Columbia race series.
Cypress Mountain was the official Freestyle Skiing and Snowboard venue for the 2010 Olympic Winter Games and is located in West Vancouver, only a 30 min drive from downtown Vancouver. The course features some gnarly singletrack, and hardcore hills up doubletrack trails.
The trail race features a variety of distances, including the 5.3 km Sports Course and the 9 km Enduro Course. The event also has a couple of options for the kids -- the 1 km Children's Challenge and the 3 km Timed Kids' Race. Fun trail running for everyone!
