Race Information
The Run to Home Base is the Red Sox Foundation's most critical, annual fundraiser providing vital funds for the clinical care and support for Veterans and their families who are impacted by the invisible wounds of war. The race begins outside Fenway Park and the finish line crosses Home Plate in Fenway. 100% of every dollar raised will go directly towards the life-saving care provided by Home Base, a Red Sox Foundation dedicated to healing the invisible wounds of Veterans of all eras, Service Members, Military Families and Families of the Fallen through world-class clinical care, wellness, education, and research.
Beginner Runner Training Plan
Are you looking to become a runner for the first time? Coming back to running after a hiatus? Our friends at None to Run have created a gradual training plan for beginner runners!
The None to Run Beginner Plan is super gradual and achievable, no matter your starting point. In 12 weeks, you’ll be able to run 25 minutes non-stop (and actually enjoy it).
None to Run is different from most beginner plans:
- Focuses on running time. NOT distance or pace.
- Includes simple strength and mobility workouts. No equipment required.
- Progresses slowly to decrease the chances of getting injured.
If you can't currently run for more than 5-minutes straight without stopping to catch your breath, you're in the right place.
Thousands of people have already used the None to Run plan to finally become the runner they’ve always wanted to be.
